- According
to AGRICareers, Inc. approximately 74% of Crop Managers receive housing as part of their compensation. This is vastly underrepresented for Vineyard Managers in California.
- The flexible learning environment accomodates active duty deployment
schedules and provides an interdependent, team oriented learning
environment.
- By providing a residency program closely co-located to Travis
AFB, single family housing requirements for personnel
involved
in the
program
are also addressed while minimizing wasted commute time from
traditional base traffic patterns.
- With the cost of housing skyrocketing
in Solano County, this service exchange is intended to keep
operating costs lower than the average vineyard, dramatically
increasing
our profit potential.
- Most importantly is our dedication to providing an education resource that gives our active duty military the option to learn a valued California based trade without taking time and effort away from their primary goal of defending this nation.
3nW Corporation has discovered several Disruptive Technology applications addressing Agricultural Business with low cost Energy Star efficient construction materials and low cost high tech Renewable Energy generation. - The intent is to directly address the housing shortages
and provide quality Agricultural Worker Housing for a previously
ignored segment of the housing market.
- Construction will consist of Structural Insulated Panels (SIPs)
which meet the
prefabricated housing requirements of Solano County's interpretation
of the Williamson Act.
Energy Star compliant
and fits with the State Williamson
Act requirements and the additional county requirements specific
to Solano County.
- Meets with the 'compatible
use' requirements of the Williamson Act for the indicated need for labor housing as noted in Sec.
51220(b): "...that there exists a need to house this work force of crisis proportions which requires including among agricultural uses the housing of agricultural laborers; and that such use of agricultural land is in the public interest and in conformity with the state's Farmworker Housing Assistance Plan."
