  Zero Footprint Construction

The proposed plan supports the State of California's Renewable Energy agenda and provides a working model of agricultural energy production which will change the dynamic for energy services statewide.Suppliers of the materials used, from the walls of the housing to the windmills, have entered into vendor arrangements with 3nW Corporation. The goal is to sell these materials to local farmers and leverage the crosschannel sales potential given through media exposure of the 21st Century Farm Project. Empowering the California farming industry with a compelling Renewable Energy production plan will lead to a lower cost of energy for everyone.

  • Renewable Energy is generated for self use within this plan through solar, wind, and energy conservation. The complete energy footprint used by all of our staff and their families is lowered requiring less external energy to accomplish the same tasks.
  • SIP Building Materials are Energy Star efficient and cost up to 30% less than traditional construction in labor savings. SIPs also reduce HVAC and habitability requirements by over 60%.
  • Governor Schwartzennegger set energy plans in motion in 2004 which include grants, tax breaks, loan guarantees, and other funding.
  • Local farmers can realize their USDA grant potential - President Bush set his $1.2 billion energy plan in motion in 2003. This plan supports grant and loan guarantees for Agricultural RE projects with $11 million in Renewable Energy grant funding available in 2006 through the USDA. The Farm Security and Rural Investment Act of 2002 (the Farm Bill) established the Renewable Energy Systems and Energy Efficiency Improvements Program under Title IX, Section 9006.
