Military Veterans Vineyard Management Residency Program

Vets2Vines is a residency program designed around the specific needs of the Solano County active duty military community. The Vets2Vines primary mission is to develop a comprehensive curriculum preparing active duty military for California vineyard management.

  • There are over 10,000 vineyards in California with vineyard managers earning an average of $80,400 / year.
  • Veterans are under-represented within the California winemaking industry.

By leveraging 3nW Corporation's special focus on eLearning and adaptive education Vets2Vines provides a collaborative environment located less than three miles from Travis Air Force Base. The flexible learning environment accomodates active duty deployment schedules and provides an interdependent, team oriented learning environment.

California Retains Vital Leadership

Retention of California's military veterans within California while providing quality agricultural training is the cornerstone of the Vets2Vines project. Vets2Vines provides a timely and cost effective career path. This retention plan provides a clear and desirable alternative for the majority of exiting and retiring service members who currently move out of state.
